Getting God's Attention

Getting  God's  Attention

“But verily God hath headed me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer” Psalm 66:19

There are times, when we really need God to pay attention to us. But how do we get God’s attention any way? We get God’s attention by that is effectual fervent prayer.

When God’s children pray fervently, they get God’s attention; however, the bible says that our sins can also hinder us from getting God’s attention.

“And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear, your hands are full of blood wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil” Isaiah 1:15-16

God expect us to be righteous and do what he requires of us. In 1Peter 3:12 the scripture declares “the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil?” The Christian that always do righteous deeds have God’s attention and answered prayers is the result of righteousness.

Cornelius, a centurion of an Italian army got God’s attention through his righteous deeds and that brought salvation to his household. “A devout man, and one that feared God with his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always….. And he said unto him, thy prayers and thy alms are come up for a memorial before God”. Act 10:2-4 there are four things that Cornelius did to get God’s attention.

One, he was devoted to the things of God. Two, he feared God. Three, he gave alms to the people and he prayed to God always.
You can also get God’s attention, start today, and do something that will get God’s attention, so that your life can be changed.

PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus, I really need your attention today. Help me to do things that will get your attention any time I pray. Lead me in the path of righteousness and bless my life forever in Jesus name. AMEN.
