Rejoice Always

REJOICE ALWAYS

“Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, Rejoice” Philippians 4:4

Many Christians rejoice when things are going on well with them. But when things did not go the way, they thought, it should, they lose their joy and start to complain bitterly. But the word of God says, that we should rejoice at all times. For the true believer who has faith in the word of God, there is no bad day or bad news.

This is because the word of God says “all things work together for good to them that love God” Romans 8:28. The scripture says rejoice always this means even in the time of crises you still rejoice and sing praises to God, knowing that all the crises are working together for your good. When God is in our vessel we even smile at a storm, because we know that the storm will be calm.

There is nothing in this world that should happen to the Christian, for him or her to lose her joy. The world of God says “be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God”. Philippians 4:6.

During crises, the only thing you need to do is to pray and tell God your predicament and thank, God in advance for doing miracles through the crises. James 1:2-3 declares “My brother, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing, this that, the trying of your faith worketh patience.”

It is not easy for the natural person to rejoice in hard times, but when the Holy Spirit takes over your life it is possible. That is what makes Paul and silas to worship and praise God even in the prison. They were not sad because of the discomfort in the jail, but they were strengthened by the joy of the Lord. The scripture declares “the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 Cultivate the habit of rejoicing all the time.

PRAYER
Jesus, thank you for your word that teaches me to rejoice all the time, let the Holy Spirit of joy infuse my mind and heart so that I can be comforted from the word of God in troublous timeof even in the time trouble. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength forever in Jesus name. AMEN.
